Who are your Top 15 in order you would take them if available if you are the Saints?

Here's mine-

1 Jarvis Jones
2 Joeckel
3 Eric Fisher
4 Dion Jordan
5 Lane Johnson
6 Lotulelei
7 Shariff Floyd
8 Mingo
9 Ziggy Ansah
10 Milliner
11 Vacarro
12 Ogletree
13 Damontre Moore
14 Xavier Rhodes
15 Bjoern Werner

the results after 3 pages-

I compiled them, so here's our big board-
at the bottom Moore had 4 votes, Ogletree & Werner 7. After that most had 10 or 11, Jordan on 12 ballots

Average Rank
Joeckel 2.5
Jarvis Jones 3.7
Fisher 4.1
Dion Jordan 4.8
Shariff Floyd 5.6
Lotulelei 6.0
Ansah 6.7
Lane Johnson 6.9
Milliner 8.1
Mingo 8.4
Ogletree 10.85
Vacarro 10.9
Rhodes 12.3
Damontre Moore 12.5
Werner 13.9

3 votes for Jesse Williams
2 votes for Sheldon Richardson, Trufant, & Elam
1 vote for Minter, Carradine, Austin, Keenan Allen, & Datone Jones

Not sure if I would have Moore or Werner in my top 15 especially for the saints. Maybe a Tavon Austin and Elam rounding out the group

1. Jones
2. Joeckel
3. Jordan
(I'm liking the Js)
4. Fisher
5. Ansah
6. Loutelelei
7. Johnson
8. Floyd
9. Milliner
10. Ogletree
11. Moore
12. Rhodes
13. Mingo
14. Vacarro
15. Werner

I still hope we land an OLB in the draft for our first pick, just feel that we could have more of an impact player with it. Brees needs to be protected, of course, but the Saints have developed linemen incredibly well. Would be happy if it were Mingo, but Jones, Jordan and Ansah is where I'd bring out some facials, facials everywhere. That's also knowing that Joeckel will absolutely be gone.

Hah I meant to say I agree with your list except those 2. Werner has been tagged by just about everyone as a 4-3 end, and honestly I think Werner excelled at FSU because the rest of their DLine played so well. I would prefer Elam at the bottom of that list instead of Werner. I don't know if Moore produced enough at A&M to out-weigh his god aweful combine results. I would also drop him in favor of an Austin or Trufant

1) Joeckel
2) Fisher
3) Jones
4) Floyd
5) Jordan
6) Lotulelei
7) Lane Johnson
8) Mingo
9) Ansah
10) Rhodes
11) Ogletree
12) Vacarro
13) Werner
14) Richardson
15) Milliner

I got Milliner and Rhodes lower because of the Lewis signing. Rhodes is the better prospect to me in the man press D the Saints plan to use.

I like Werner even though it is assumed he'll be a 4-3 guy like most. He reminds me of Ryan Kerrigan, I think he could play in a 3-4 and be damn effective.

not seeing much big disagreement

you can quibble about the bottom

Moore pushes up to me for need. I want him over a WR or G

Werner isn't as strong looking as a 3-4 OLB but if not there he would be very dynamic as a 3-4DE.

If we could get enough of these posted I would calculate the sum average.

As far as Xing off any players like OT, OG, WR, or QBs I simply ask who would you take? To say not Joeckel or Fisher, would you really pass on Top 3 type players for 3 others that aren't even on this list then? That is, you would take, for example, say Minter over one of those two? Not I. There's a value where a player cannot be passed on regardless of need. Best Saints history case of such might be Deuce. They had just sold the farm for Rickey Williams two years earlier. RB was a zero in need. He was simply too good to pass up at #23.

Similarly in the that direction I can pass on Geno Smith, Fluker, Cooper, Patterson, and Austin just cuz they aren't that overwhelming in value at 15. Thinking about it, I don't have Warmack on the list but might should. Even if he is a guard you could take him and deal Evans or Grubbs for prolly a 2nd or 3rd. That would open up several millions of cap space and get you 8 years younger at that spot. But it hinges on that for me he is that good.
