Can you fix that?

I too love the all black ninja gear. But the 1st pic does look pretty good and would not take away from our ninja abilities imo.

Take the black-white-black stripe from the helmet, make it gold-white-gold, and slap that down the side of the black pants.

That's how the pants should look. Actually, those should be our uniforms.

I wonder how much Sharper and Colston (among others) got fined by the NFL Uniform police for the all-black look.

I remember Horn and Ricky Williams got docked 10k apiece for sporting that look against the Redskins about 6 or 7 years ago.

Those are played out, man, anything with big stripes like that looks horrible. 'Cajun 8' had it right with the thin Gold stripe in his pictures, that's what the Falcons have, I'm not sayin copy them, but get something similar and it would make the black pants look great. the poster that disagreed with me, I don't know what he is talkin about.

The best uniforms in football have old school triple stripes

You'll notice that every example image you posted has lighter colored pants touching a darker colored stripe before the center stripe. None of them have dark pants next to a lighter colored stripe.

What works one way doesn't necessarily work the other way around.

That's a good point. It also makes me think the gold pants would look a lot better with a white stripe down the middle of the black one. It would match the helmet stripe.

Probably nothing. The NFL uniform standards have been less strict and going South for the last few years.

As for Sharper and ALL the WR's wearing the ALL BLACK look, that's all on the Head Coach. If I'm the HC, they don't leave the locker room wearing that. If the TEAM likes the ALL BLACK look, then the ENTIRE team should be wearing solid black socks and black shoes, not just a few that are trying to be different and draw attention to themselves.

With the Black Jersey/Black Pants thing, the solid Black Shoes/Black Socks look a lot better than all the different combinations with the half-white/half-black socks and all the different styles of shoes. (Black Shoes, Half and Half Black-White Combos, etc....)

As for the solid Black Pants, they're just not my thing. They look even worse with those annoying Reebok/NFL logos on the front. The FDL logo on the side is way too small as well. Like the older style wide stripe black pants shown with Manning.

And don't even get me started on those cheap arse, poor fitting baggy "potato sack" Reebok jersies. HUGE mistake by the NFL in signing a contract with a foreign company than can't even manufacture a quality jersey that fits properly.........

first one looks awesome Cajun8. Wish they would consider something like that. Brings the uniform more up to date.
