PSA...Color rush unis for Thursday Night

Where the frick have you been? We have the best color rush uniforms in da L.

Hands down, this should be the Saints base uniform. Everything about it says “Saints.”

We wore them last year in our TNF game vs Carolina.

This might seem like a dumb question, but I wonder if there is a competitive advantage to the unis?


Like would all whites be much easier for a QB to see where the defenders are compared to a red that might be harder to see. I dunno I’m adderalld up. I might look into QB stats vs all white tomorrow.

don't think there is a "home" or "away" color rush

each team only has 1 color rush uni

ours just happens to be white

meaning if we were in the Superdome we'd still be in all white

ETA: however, since our color rush is essentially a modernized version of our throwbacks... just wear our actual throwbacks that we've worn a number of times... including last season against Detroit

Also you didn’t know they wore them before but you posted a picture of them wearing them in an actual game.

impossible under current NFL rules

right now the NFL only allows teams one helmet set to wear... and since the Saints main helmet is gold... a black helmet can't be worn

the rule has been in effect since 2013 and there has been attempts to get rid of it (most recently this past offseason by the Eagles)... but the rule is still in place (to the best of my knowledge)

But will the red make it harder for Brees to see the defenders compared to Ryan seeing the Saints defenders in all white. Im sure it would be very minimal if anything but still a thought.
