Why don't you angry Cletuses just go watch "Falling Down" five times in a row or something? Get over it.

Protest Ideas Regarding First Home Game

It sure is funny how much all these people saying they don’t care anymore, sure do want other people to care about how much they don’t care....

If it’s that big an issue and y’all are “done”, then be done... leave... get a new hobby, but please stop polluting the board with these ridiculous and utterly desperate displays of misplaced faux outrage.... it’s juvenile.... grow the frick up and get on with your life....

I’m so excited to see a bunch of racist idiots try to protest because people were kind of mean to Brees for a minute.

I love how it's guys like the OP that need to lighten up, not the cringey, self unaware clowns kneeling for the anthem or performing a character assassination of a LA sports legend.

I have been a hard core NFL fan/ football fan as long as I can remember. Games with my father, grandfather, in person and on TV. NFL football was everything to me as a kid. I collected the cards, I knew everything there was to know about the players. It is something that has been with me my entire life and I enjoyed it.

As I grew up and got older, in my 20's me and some of my guys from college/high school started playing fantasy football. It was right up my alley since I had an advantage over most people because of how closely I followed football over the years. I was in as many as 6 leagues at one time.

I say all that, to say that I am done with professional sports. The players are a bunch of ungrateful punks using their "platform" to spew nothing but lies and hate about the country they live in. What they did to Drew Brees was criminal. His own teammates. People that know him, and know his character, and he helped ink a $100m contract, didn't think twice about stabbing him in the back - publicly. The organization, Loomis, Payton, the Golddigger, did NOTHING. They let him twist, get beaten up and threatened. He did not deserve that.

What it did was to reveal to me the true character of these people . . . . . . and I am not supporting this garbage. Im not protesting, I am simply walking away - for good. I wonder how all of this is going to affect professional sports. I seriously doubt I will be alone. I have been a sports guy my entire life, but that is about to drastically change. I have better things to do with my time.

maybe they do need to lighten up too.

They aren't starting pathetic threads that I can interact with easily.

Truth is everyone needs to fricking lighten up...starting with you.

Lol easily interact with. You watch the games and provide monetary support while running interference for a group that wants to abolish police departments. You need to lighten up mate.

Here’s an idea, don’t go to the fricking game. And if you have tickets sell them to opponents’ fans.

“Rickroll” all Saints players and team Social Media accounts with this music video. Seems appropriate given the lyrics and the title.

Unsainted-Slipknot

quote:

"Unsainted"

Oh, I'll never kill myself to save my soul
I was gone, but how was I to know?
I didn't come this far to sink so low
I'm finally holding on to letting go
(I'll never kill myself to save my soul)
I'm finally holding on to letting go
(I didn't come this far to sink so low)
I'm finally holding on to letting go

I'm just weathering a rough patch
Another villain with an itch to scratch
Denial is the darkest when you live in a hole
Why does the hell make you feel so cold?
Make a move and you pay for it
Pick a lord and you pray to it
You're so demanding when you want the truth
But your stories don't read for me

Oh, I'll never kill myself to save my soul
I was gone, but how was I to know?
I didn't come this far to sink so low
I'm finally holding on to letting go

Indecision overload
Keep a buckle on the devil and your eyes on the road
Reaching out for the hand of God
But did you think you'd shake your own?
This killing field is all grown over
The motherfricker wants it wild
Go sow your oats in alphabetical order
The anti-antagonist is back in style
Myopic, cannot see straight
Dystopic, one sin too late
You gotta lie if you wanna believe
But your bibles don't work on me

Oh, I'll never kill myself to save my soul
I was gone, but how was I to know?
I didn't come this far to sink so low
I'm finally holding on to letting go

Did you think you could win? And fill me in?
Did you think you could do it again? I'm not your sin
I was all that you wanted and more, but you didn't want me
I was more than you thought I could be
So I'm setting you free, I'm setting you free
You've killed the saint in me
How dare you martyr me?
You've killed the saint in me

Oh, I'll never kill myself to save my soul
I was gone, but how was I to know?
I didn't come this far to sink so low
I'm finally holding on to letting go

You've killed the saint in me
How dare you martyr me?
You've killed the saint in me
How dare you martyr me?
