Because while unvaccinated are the most hospitalized, the vaccinated are the biggest spreaders. I can tell by your attitude on here that you think because you have been vaccinated and wear a mask you are free to go about your life. frick whomever is around you, you did your part.
Fact is, those with natural antibodies are more protected and for longer periods than the vaccinated, but both vaccinated and unvaccinated are capable of spreading the virus at the same rate. The difference is, most vaccinated are displaying a more care-free attitude, especially since they may be asymptomatic due to the vaccine, which has lead to this current surge.

A new test for every game? Back to back home games need two separate tests? Nah, frick that

The CDC is telling us that vaccinated patrons can contract and spread the Delta variant at a same rate as unvaccinated.

They probably just have the lines sitting on busy so that they don't have to listen to all the dumbasses like yourself this morning

They should drop the vaccination charade and everyone needs to show a covid test.

Why should I have to show a test when I’ve already taken the steps to prevent a possible trip to the hospital if i get this?

Yes. And if you carry it into a dome full of vaccinated people, the chances of those people needing hospitalization are almost zero. As Brettesaurus said, that's the main point. Get enough people vaccinated to avoid filling up hospitals.

What about those with confirmed positive antibody tests? Wonder why that isn't a qualification.

Vaccinated people leave and still spread to people elsewhere. You guys are dense and are literally making arguments to mandate a vaccination. Which is what we’re also being told would never happen.

…both? I’m not personally worried about getting it. I don’t want to, but if i do, I should get a much milder case of it. But if I go to a public place, I will 100% feel better about it knowing you have to either prove you got the vaccine or show a negative test. Those requirements SIGNIFICANTLY lower my chances of contracting it entering that establishment.
I want the restrictions done and over with. We’re not gonna get there with hospitals overflowing. And having an huge indoor event on a weekly basis without any kind of preventative measures was never going to happen. In fact, we might end up there anyway with no fans allowed if it doesnt get better.

Why do you keep saying this?
I can get into an accident anytime I drive on I-10.
Driving 120MPH down it would probably greatly increase my chance of getting in a wreck or wrecking someone else.
So now you’re saying that vaccinated now carry the burden to protect the ones who won’t get it? Ahhhh that’s interesting.
