I just don’t think he ever “fell to pieces”last season if you get the situational awareness.

He started the Ole Miss game 1-9 with 6 throws over 25 yards being all misses.

He went into the 4th quarter with a 33% completion percentage.

He threw for 50% against A&M.

He only completed 37% of throws over 25 yards FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON.

Yeah, he fell to pieces quite a bit last season, but LSU fans are some of the biggest homers I've ever seen, coming from a LSU fan.

He simply refuses to take wide open chunks of yardage in front of him with his feet in tight games.

This was driving me crazy at times especially in contrast to late 2018 Burrow who knew he could help the team by running more.

He also needs to take the layups sometimes. Whether it’s to a back or something more shallow. Lot of guys left running into space as he hums one down the sideline out of bounds.

But i do think he has another level he can hit as evidenced by some of his better performances. Hopefully he got a lot of mistakes out of his system in that second half of the year. All starts in the pocket. Really hope the OL is solid.

Why are we convinced Nussmeir is a top pick again?

We are just basing this on EVERY mock draft out there.

Well we know mockers often don’t line up with NFL scouts. We also know they have to create content. Seems like they’re banking on him going high after his sr year like Burrow and Daniels due to a whole lot of recency bias and not knowing who the hell else to put up high.

Not saying he can’t get there but if he has a similar year to last year and we have a high pick, I definitely hope some other players elevate themselves above him.

I do too. I don’t think Nuss is the answer to the QB problem in NO. But the problem is, I don’t know who would be a good pick for a QB either.

It was a joke due to posters saying we could’ve gotten Shough in the 5th.

and basically every football analyst out there has him as a Top 5 QB prospect for the next cycle.

Now go back to this time last year and see what they said about Sanders & Ewers

The Saints won’t pick a QB in the 1st round next year. They will give TS a chance to prove himself.Yuo don’t use a 2nd round pick with the idea of drafting a QB in the 1st the next.

Mock drafts this far out don’t mean anything. They tend to be extremely inaccurate

Ewers was widely projected to be a 1st round pick. Ended up going 7th round

Nuss 1.0 wasn’t worth a shite for the Saints.

Please let 2.0 try his hand somewhere else
