Anyway, picking the Saints to go AT BEST 7-9 is borderline retarded. AT BEST they could catch fire again and get 13 wins, and I see that being possible depending on off season moves.

There is a reason MOST double negatives aren't logical: they create a positive or the opposite of what the user was intending.

The never in my case doesn't do that. It adds emphasis that I was not unsatisfied or never not satisfied (means the same thing). I'm intending to to create an opposite there to add emphasis that I wasn't unsatisfied with your post.

Back to the point, I think saying the Saints will go 7-9 is reasonable given our blocking issues, defense, etc.

Still, it took a lot of bad luck even with a pretty unfriendly schedule for us to go 7-9 this year. Our issues are at positions that we can save a lot of money via cuts. Guard and Center aren't highly valued in the draft or via free agency as far as $$ goes, and it is one of the easiest transitions from college to the NFL or from another system.

So, I can understand someone saying that he thinks we'll go 7-9, because it just happened. Do you think the Saints will have the same injuries as last year (4 safeties out, 2 NTs out, Cooks out, Graham hurt, etc.), or do you even think we'll have the same #2 corner as last year?

If 7-9 is our best, what do you EXPECT our record to be? 5 wins? 4 wins?

So we can only win slam dunk games? Our best performances last year were vs. Green Bay, @Pitt, and @Carolina.

As of now, the "slam dunks" (really dumb statement in the NFL) are, Tampa x2, Jacksonville, Titans, and Washington. Arizona may be up there too if Palmer doesn't come back in time.

Games we should win (we'll be favored in most of these at least): 1 vs Atlanta, 1 vs Carolina, Giants, Detroit, @Houston, @Philly (rookie QB).

Toss Ups: Dallas @ Home, Detroit @ Home

Games we'll probably lose: 1 vs Atlanta, 1 vs Carolina, @Indy

You look at the Saints problems and ignore the problems other team's on our schedule have. We'll beat some teams that should beat us like we did this year, and we'll probably drop some that we shouldn't too. We are 1 year removed from winning 11 games, and we have a pretty talented roster.

8-8 at best. We are a team rebuilding with little cap space and incapable of filling needs in the draft outside of the first pick. If our scouting department misses this year it will only extend the disappointment in N.O. including my own. If we free up some space and add some impact players to the D, and avoid injury we may do better. Just my opinion.
