re: Pre-season Position Battles

Elliss hasn’t even hit a year on his ACL recovery. On top of losing a lot of time for a 7th rd guy, we haven’t heard anything on his availability. Tough to pencil him in anywhere right now

Robertson has over 2k snaps on defense with the saints on top of being a core special teamer. Team captain the last three seasons. I think Chickillo is the threat to his job if anyone, not elliss

Davis, Anzalone, and Alonso are the only LBs with experience in our scheme, and Anzalone and Alonso are no guarantees with their health. Robertson’s ability to play LB in a pinch is valuable. Of course it’s not pretty, that’s why he’s a backup

As for Bradham, he’s the only MLB on the active roster right now with a pulse. He’s not the guy he once was but he’s gonna mix in at MLB
