Really liked all 3 WRs, especially Shaq Davis and Kirklin, glad they made it to the practice squad. I really thought either or both could’ve made the 53, but what do I know.
Jaylon Smith made it to the practice squad too. I liked what I saw from him in preseason and thought he was a lock. Figured he’d be our 3rd best linebacker and back up either Werner or Davis. Really shocked he made it, and even more shocked he was cut to begin with.
Niko Lalos also made it. I was impressed with his motor, albeit against 3rd string.
I like what I see. We kept our guys, or our guys kept us. Either way, just glad we were able to hold on to them.
I’m nervously excited about this season, and ready for it to begin. September 10th can’t get here soon enough.

It seems like they keep 3-4 special teamers every year and how would you not like Niko Lalos running down on kickoffs killing people?! I mean sometimes, just put the football player on the squad and let them wreak havoc, ya know?
