phil simms was just on jim rome

he was talking about sean p and brees. he said at the 2006 pro bowl sean p, drew brees, phil simms and peyton manning were sitting down one night having drinks(actually he said a good time) and peyton was talking offense. peyton manning started writing stuff down saying it was some of the best info he'd ever heard. also phil said with g williams in place we should make a good run at a championship. no way we get there with gibbs defense. just thought i'd pass the info along.


one more thing, he said that he had a conversation with drew after his senior season saying he didnt think he had what it took to make it in the nfl. now, he says drews bulked up a little, changed how he throws it, with a high release. and with the way he plays he's got a lot left and can play for a very long time in the nfl.
