Percentage that NFL makes Saints play Saturday if they don’t get 1 seed.

I would say 99.9.

I mean if the schedulers/ Goodell make this team play Saturday knowing the situation, that might be the last straw for me and the NFL tbh. It will be even more proven it’s rigged.

But anyways what do y’all think?

It is rigged 100%.

Knowing this, I don’t watch, but do keep up with the NFL script. Will only watch if they make the SB.

Agree with your post, but the only thing I disagree with is they may not want the Saints v Rams/Chi/Zona in primetime. You can already lock Brady v Cowboys/Skins in 1 prime time slot. Steelers v Clev/Indy for the 2nd primetime slot

I've already cleared my schedule for football on Saturday. That's how sure I am.

Only hope we've got is that the NFL would rather make sure one of their marquee players gets to play than screwing over the Saints.

The ratings have sucked this year and you would think they want the marquee players playing

I believe the networks mostly pick. Fox and cbs get their picks first and then ESPN/abc it’s all matchup/rating based really. If it’s say saints/cardinals that’ll be a Saturday afternoon game easily.

Edit: I take that back apparently nbc gets first pick for their Saturday night slot.

Thanks for the heads up.

I look forward to watching the Saints this up-coming Saturday - perhaps even in the morning, if Goodell could somehow swing that.

11am kickoff?

Good breakdown by purplepylon in another thread
quote:

Network schedule for WC weekend

Sat:
ESPN - last choice, most likely Tenn game
CBS - AFC game
NBC - if 1st choice, won't be Saints without Kamara will be Brady or Pitt
-
Sun:
FOX - NFC game
CBS - AFC game
NBC

Don't know what order games get chosen by networks. But if I'm any network I'm not choosing a Saints game if Kamara isn't playing.
CBS is out because they have AFC
Fox only has one game, and it'll be NFC (which is good for Kamara)
NBC, were they to choose the Saints, would most likely put them on Sunday night so Kamara could play
ESPN usually gets the worst game and I doubt they'd be stuck with the Saints game.

Long story short, Saints are either noon Sunday on FOX or Sunday night on NBC. Doesn't make sense for NBC to choose Saints for Sat if Kamara isn't playing when they could put them on Sun with him playing

I guess NFL released a statement - playoff schedule won’t be altered or changed based on a player’s availability

Dammit

Gooddell/NFL have scheduled the Saints next playoff choke for Saturday, January 9th in an empty Superdome, likely against the Rams or Bears.

I think that’s in reference to new cases the week of the game

That’s a very logical breakdown but a lot of goofballs on here are dead set on the saints being screwed

I doubt goodell will influence the networks decision on choosing a game
