I don't think he is dumb but I do think his football IQ is very very low. He is a dumb QB for sure.

I mean even Brees, for as good as he could read defenses, made mistakes and forced throws. Winston doesn't have 1/10 of Brees' situational awareness. It's too bad since he does have the physical tools to be a really great QB.

Two issues with that plan:
1) the coaching drop off on the offensive end has been very steep. Really team preparation across the board
2) the OL drop off has been extremely detrimental, sustained drives just have not happened at all. The scoring drives have mostly been the result of a large chunk play or two

Correct

Carmichael/Marrone were the milk of coaching choices.

Its time for The Red Rifle, who is a better QB than Jameis will ever be.

I thought you weren't watching the Saints because kneeling and names on helmets, etc.

So maybe you haven't been watchin for a while.

In no universe is 2022 Dalton better than a healthy 2022 Winston.

Now Winston is hurt and he probably needs to take a few games off and try to get healthy and we should play Andy in the interim.

In no way is Dalton the future QB of this franchise.

In Daton's prime he couldn't win a playoff game.

I'd rather tank this year than think he is our future.

If that's the case why trade your next year's first round pick to move up and get a receiver this year? Now it looks like it is a top 10 pick that we traded away to get a wide receiver.

The product on the field does not even sniff a playoff team, yet they went into this season with the "win now" approach that made sense when you still had Drew Bree

2022 draft was trash for QBs. The first one picked was 20th and he is no guarantee.

The front office thought they could get serviceable work out of Winston and if they surround him with good weapons it would work, considering oru defense.

Given the first part of last season, this was a very reasonable thought.

But Winston and Thomas are hurt, Kamara looks distracted, our OL has regressed, and our Defense looks very old at the moment.

So I don't think there was a disconnect with the front office. I think their plan was solid. It just isn't working.

Please elaborate on how a broken back injury wouldn’t cause a QB to start playing like shite?

He is in the NFL making what 10-12 million dollars while having message board full of people bitching about him.
