Physically yes.

But the knock on Davenport coming out was that he might not actually love football and he didn't always hustle. And to me that has shown.

This dude apparently loves football and is constantly hustling.

He also isn't as raw as Davenport was. Not saying he's polished, but he has a few moves in his tool belt already whereas Davenport was essentially a blank slate

The pick wasn't even 12 hrs ago..look man. you and I both know it was a total WTF pick.. I get the whole "wait and see" approach and the "trust the organization " approach.. I'll get there eventually but right now it's a head scratcher.

Turner’s college film >> Davenport’s from a technical standpoint

Davenport was a raw, stand up pass rusher at UTSA who had a huge weight gain that suddenly put him on the map. He got by on sheer power and speed.

Turner, Cam and Davenport can all slide inside as well.

Thinking about all 3 of those guys and Granderson on passing downs against Brady, Ryan, and Darnold is appealing as hell.

Nielson gonna keep this DL elite even with Hendrickson leaving. We really need some CB help, though.

Now you’re talking

The unit will be a some of it’s parts. Fresh guys relentlessly pursuing the QB. I see a path where Granderson could lead this team this team in sacks. His per snap numbers suggest it if he can keep the same performance over more snaps
