Because of this statement
quote:

this just goes to show what a shite hole of a city NOLA is.

If New Orleans is such a dump, why would numerous celebrities own homes there and why would it be one of the most visited places in America?

Keep reading, that question gets answered.

Never said it was boring, or nothing to do, or no reason not to have a place to crash while in NOLA.

Nobody is saying New Orleans is a dump. Anyway.... Coach Payton is going to have to come out and make a statement of some sort. I believe an explanation is in order. He doesn't have to but I think it would make the city and the fanbase feel more at ease. He is, first, a football coach but he is also in the PR biz whether he likes it or not. People don't want to pry they just want to understand.

So how did you interpret this statement?

He's just flaming. If he does mean it then frick him. I don't really give a shite what he thinks. I want to know what Sean Payton's motives are. Let it go. New Orleans is a great city. America wouldn't be the country that it is without New Orleans and if he can't see that then frick him.

I'm going to bed. Night all.

About what? I'm not even from Louisiana. I just appreciate one of the coolest cities in the country.

Anyway thank you Saints board for some entertainment tonight, you are by far the easiest board to get fired up.

You just admitted to flaming, which is a bannable offense

When mommas not happy then the house ain't happy I've lived both places Dallas-Ft.Worth= antiseptic and vannilla....NOLA= A little funky and a delight to the taste buds. So Wade Phillips f..k you as you slowly fade away in Big-D.I'd rather go out with a bang in the Big-E.Sean's just taking care of momma.

If you want comic entertainment, may I suggest the highlight video of the Cowboys' 2010 season?

Searched and couldn't find it, but a year or so ago in a thread about Jones poaching Payton, I posted the statement that the wife and/or family was longing for Dallas. I've been told that on more than one occasion. Hopefully, this will satisfy them and Payton will remain as coach. We'll see.

This is not going to end well, burn out factor will be much higher..
I lived in Dallas for 4 years, nice place but not N.O.
Wife must really not like the Northshore for a high profile couple to move.

She really didn't want him to take the job in the first place, iirc.

This wont work. No way can Payton put in the time to keep the Saints at a high level. He just lost a lot of respect ,not just from N.O. ,but the state of Louisiana. Only good thing is the Williams situation , he may be the coach in waiting, and would be a good one. Payton needs to straighten this out now. If thier is a way to straighten it out. It sucks.
