Only on the Rant are McMahon and Bill Johnson universally praised

The homerism on that board is off the charts. Johnson isn't terrible. McMahon is. I don't care if LSU's god awful STs under Peveto marginally improved.

They still basically suck imo. Cole Tracy being a great kicker doesn't make up for the other deficiencies.

Kickoff returns: Ranked 13 - That's average.
Kickoff coverage: Tied for 74 - garbage
Punt return coverage: 22 - below average for the talent available
Punt returns: 99

perhaps you should post this on the board of who it's intended?

I think it's Saints Talk relevant since most of us here wanted those two along with Vitt fired about 3-4 years before they were.

They get quite a bit of criticism on The Rant too.

Do you think there might be a difference between the NFL and college football?

Not to defend them, but

Kickoff returns: Ranked 13 - That's average.
Punt return coverage: 22 - below average for the talent available

If these are NCAA rankings, aren't there 120+ teams. That would put them in the top 10-20th percentile of the country for those respective categories. Definitely above "average".

Edit: Just saw there were 129 teams considered for the rankings

quote:

Kickoff coverage: Tied for 74 - garbage

74th puts them in the middle (57th percentile), which would be considered average.

How are their ring sizes compared to Dez’s?

McMahon was absolutely atrocious for the Saints. I was not thrilled to see him land with LSU.

I think Bill Johnson is a good addition for the Tigers though. He needed a change of scenery after a few seasons with the Saints.

Just wait til Aranda leaves and O gets that former NFL HC Joe Vitt to DC the Tigers.

Just because a coach might not be a good coach in the NFL, that doesn't always translate in the NCAA. So just stop and if you need to see proof, check out the guy in Alabama.

Do you have a clue about the injury to LSU's D-line coach?

No?

Dummy.

He's a ULL fan that explains the math deficiency, and everything else.
