I have to give you credit, SFP. Back in Feb, after DA was hired, I said the Saints were in a certain rebuild and DA was a perfect hire to suffer thru the rebuild with little expectations. I said an opportunistic big name coach would then come in to "save the day" after all the hard work by DA had been done.
You said laughingly the Saints were not in a rebuild. You were right.
I thought the $70M over-capped sitchy, plus the certain FA losses of MW & TA would cement a rebuild, but Loomis/DA made some moves in the draft/FA/salary cap that make this team as competitive as those 2017 & 2018 rosters.

The funny thing is these are the same media guys that think kaepernick is a starter in the league. Kap is 3-16 in his last 2 seasons and you don't improve at qb by being away from the game for as long as he has.
