I think Lee could be the same type of guy. He ran a 4.51 but he plays faster on field, imo. I know he had a ton of drops in 13', but i was reading up on his previous seasons, and the drops weren't a huge problem.

his drops concern me less than just general long term prognosis of his knee and ability to stay healthy.

I'll try to guess outside the box with the hopes of nailing it.

Yeah all 3 guys are my third choice at each position(LB not split by ILB/OLB, and pass rushing "OLBs" in a different category with DEs).

WR
Evans
Watkins
Cooks

CB
Gilbert
Dennard
Verrett

LB
Mack
Mosley
Shazier

Beckham and Fuller aren't far behind either, but there's no other LB I have close to the top 3.

I'd be happy with any of them, though I think Shazier and Cooks have more of a shot at contributing big this year.

Mosley, Cooks, Fuller

If they trade up its going to be Mosley or one of the top WRs imo.

If they trade down they will take the best from the second tier WRs or one of the corners that slid.

I was initially going to put Jordan Matthews, but I saw that someone already had him.
As in, they can not like their options at 27 and decide to trade back into the 2nd Round and still get him & some additional picks.

It all depends on where the Saints grade him.

Fuller

- I would have said Shazier but I have strong doubts they will take a LB in the 1st round. They have not in so long.

-I think they would if Mosley was there but I think he'll be gone.

That actually sounds like an argument for doing it.

I just hope there's an option to do it. And I mean legit LB, not pass rushing specialist "OLB". Mosley and Shazier are our only options and both could be gone.

Cincinnati needs a LB and I think Shazier may go there?

Mosley seems like a Green Bay Packers type of pick to me. They could pair him inside with AJ Hawk I guess.

Ravens, Phins, Cards, and Packers could all be landing spots for Mosley. And then Shazier could go to whichever one didn't take Mosley.

I could see a "nightmare" scenario where all of the top WRs, CBs, LBs, and "top 20" guys are gone by our pick, leaving us with pass rushing projects, questionable interior Dlinemen, an OG or OT, a QB, or reaching for someone as our only options if we stay put.

We only used 1 pass rushing "OLB" at a time, and that was usually Galette. Whether you label them ILB or OLB in 4-3 or 3-4, yes a more traditional do everything LB, or at least one that can cover and stop the run first.

Someone like Vilma when healthy. We are sorely missing that.

Yep, looks that way. I'd be shocked if the Packers pick anyone other than someone on the D side of the ball.

If the Saints really wanted Mosley, they'll have to jump to #20 to get ahead of the Packers and I don't see the Cardinals being too anxious to help the Saints get their guy...unless we pay out the arse to convince them.
