not being able to judge a draft for 5 years is legitimate, but with that being said, this draft has disaster written all over it.

Colston is one of my all time favorites but will he get younger next year?????? Missing out on Strong will haunt us.

FYI, y'all aren't going to like the next pick either.

I like this pick. A little unexpected, but really good value here.

Cover cornerback with the talent to play on an island, and the swagger to regroup and forget when beaten. Williams can cover outside or from the slot, and has potential to come in and start right away for an aggressive man-cover defense. Williams had some issues recovering when beaten deep and may end up making a move to safety on the next level. He has the talent to be a capable NFL starter at either position.

Nothing wrong w the pick IF we had gotten Strong or a wideout.

My guess is another 5th round guy like Stills.

People seem to forget that Stills was good.
And we got him in the fifth.

NFL.com tidbit on Williams:

"I think his best position will end up being safety. He's strong enough as a tackler to make the move and his cover skills are what most teams are looking for from safeties now. He would be the second safety off the board if you project him there." - NFC general manager "Can't run. The more I watch him, the more limited I realize he's going to be." - NFC defensive backs coach

wonderful to read about the newest Saint.

Just looking at the highlights, it looks like he isn't afraid to come up and tackle. You have to like that in a CB.

McShay just said we've had a good draft. I rest my case.

You're so right. How are you not working in the NFL right now

Yeah and I realize that we can still get a quality starter at WR tomorrow. I'm just a little more nervous about it now

This shows you how comfortable they are with developing Toon, Coleman, and possibly even Saunders
