They are also rivals because they compete for some population of Louisiana football fans, especially in north La. There are a lot of Cowboy fans in Lousiana because the Cowboys existed before the Saints and thats just who they were rooting for at the time, and 2 generations of households were raised as such. So its not jealousy, its competition.
ETA: and I'd much rather play Minn. because Favre is nowhere near as mobile as Romo and I think that favors us more.

Anyone else sick of all the Cowboy fans that just won't shut up now that they have won 4 games in a row starting with us? There a guy here at work that I suggested watching the game together before season started and he was all calm and mellow about it. Didn't say much to me about football all year and now he is just a complete moron that thinks he shite doesn't stink
And what kinda crap was the "na na na na hey hey hey goodbye" shite they were singing Saturday? No class. I understand they are in the same division, but hell DAL beat them twice this year with a shut out just 6 days earlier!!!! Crappy.
