I would too but let's be honest. There won't be much difference in talent level between 8th -12th.

At the range you should be drafting BAP regardless of position. Where the Saints always get into trouble is they fall in love with a player or try to fill a position need and fail to remove the blinders.

I could care less of its a QB or OG or S. If he's the best rated player get him.

I'd rather have a top rated player in a position that's not a top need on the team even if you pay him a little more on the rookie scale than to keep rolling the dice on value players over talent.

It does apply, unless a coach is named as the eventual successor in his contract

I would be fine with Rizzi if you used his tenure to reset the cap. If we wins, it’s a welcome surprise, if he sucks, oh well you can hire somebody when you have good picks and cap situation. But we all know Loomis would never lower himself to that
