I know some of you don't want to hear it, but if there is a QB the like at 4 or 5, they are going get him. Looking at value charts, 16 + 19 can get you to 4 where the jets are sitting (they also have 10). They need a ton of help and having two more 1st would help them move around alot. Hell, NYG has 5 and 7. Neither NY team is taking a QB. There is too much smoke here.

I don’t have a problem with that if our scouts think he has the talent to start this year or next year.
Not 2-3 years from now.
And if we make that move, I will genuinely be excited about it.
We are buying time with Winston

You still didn’t answer my question about drafting a QB in the first round this year to sit on the bench for 2-3 years.

There is no can't miss QB prospect in this class. I've said that a thousand times.

Nope
The question and my post that you continue to move the goalposts on
Was drafting a QB in the first round to sit the bench for 2-3 years
Keep dancing

There is not a quarterback in this draft worth trading UP for.

Listen, if they truly believe in a guy based on what they've seen and experienced, I'm fine if they wanna go get them. If this scouting department that we massively trust is like totally sold on a QB then I get it. But you better not fricking miss
Exactly. You’d think that they would REALLY have to like him given that it will likely mean the whole coaching staff getting fired if it doesn’t work.

FYI, when you google "Kenny Pickett pro player comparison", on the first page, you get articles that list Pickett's pro comp as:
-Andy Dalton
-Taylor Heinicke
-Teddy Bridgewater
-Jay Cutler
-Derek Carr*
-Joe Burrow
*Derek Carr did appear as the pro comp in two separate articles.

If he’s a Derek Carr or Tony Romo
You take him.
You take him.

He is not Josh Allen. Total physical difference. Also for every Josh Allen there's ten Carson Wentz

I never said Willis & Allen were comparable physically. I was referring to their college production & draft projections that stated both needed development in the NFL. I shouldn't have to explain that but sometimes I forget where I'm posting.

And for every Joe Burrow or Justin Herbert there's a Jake Locker or Josh Rosen.
Wentz was playing at an MVP level in 2017 before tearing his ACL & LCL against the Rams. While he obviously fully recovered physically from the injury, it's fairly obvious he has never recovered fully mentally from that injury. People forget how good Wentz had been up until that injury. He was looking like a big time, young, stud QB.

Sometimes it's the one on one interviews that QBs have at the Combine, Pro Days, Senior Bowl, etc that give insight into whether or not the individual has the ability, understanding, passion & work ethic to improve on flaws in their game.
The physical measurables from these workouts always are seen everywhere during draft season but the interviews are possibly the most important of all when it comes to QBs & those are kept private.

I was referring to the durability issues Willis might have with that playing style and being smaller compared to Allen, which is more able to handle hits.
