Not worried about the offense.

The offense will improve. Simply by adding Kamara, we instantly improve. You also have to assume Carmichael and Carr will get more comfortable together week over week, in addition to Derek's chemistry with the receivers. I do concede the O-Line has some work to do, but will be good enough.

I know this board is full of negativity, so downvote away.

I'm feeling very optimistic that we will be right where we want to be by November, and will run away with the division -- thanks to our championship level defense.

Niners, Cowboys, Eagles, Saints - class of NFC.

We're in the mix - embrace and enjoy it.

I'm not putting the saints in that class.
The defense, sure. The offense and coaching, nope.

Adding Kamara at least gives the defense some threat of the run to think about. Plus, you can line Kamara out wide whereas you can't really do that with the other RBs.

Still, the big concern remains the OL. They just aren't playing well. And while Penning has been the worst of the bunch, he's not the only one. That makes things tough because you can't just help one guy (Penning). It seems like everyone on the OL is taking turns during a game to make a string of poor plays.

If the OL can improve, I think the offense can along with it. Not top 5 or even top 10 in the league. MAYBE top 15. But, with this defense, that could be enough.

The offense has been clunky since Brees left. Can’t recall a game where we played well start to finish

Until they prove something they don’t get the benefit of the doubt. With this defense and cake schedule, they hold the keys to a truly successful season

Final record may have the Saints in the same grouping as the other 3, but they don't belong in the same class at this point.

Carr would have had that TD when he tried to dump it at the goal line to TJJ and we ended up settling for a FG. Plus, you have an entire set of plays you can ow run that are most likely on hold because of the different skill sets. With that said, PC needs to call a better game in goal-to-go situation.

This is a major issue with the offense having some consistency. But,it is 1 that will get fixed as they get more reps and the season carries on

Clean up the red zone, and they will be there. After the game was looking for some stats and it looked like the Saints were around 10th in the league in yards, but 25th in points
