It’s head or neck area. Just stupid because the receiver ducked to make the catch, so naturally the DB did too. These rules put defenders in such bad situations. fricking joke

It was helmet to helmet but it's not the DBs fault he's going low and the other guy decides to lower his head to take a helmet to helmet hit. That's bullshite.

22 pulled up as much as possible when the receiver went low. Absolute bullshite call and you see the ref wait to make the call when he realizes the stop was made.

the DB was already at that level and the offensive player initiated the contact

If the guy is already falling to the ground, all you have to do it touch him. The hit was unecessary, and a dumbshit play. Players playing by leading with their heads is what gets us in trouble every time. No reason to hit the guy, it wasn't a first down.
