We're just letting them cover 5 yard passes.

Another poorly called game.

Did you listen to the commentator at all? They were dropping 2 safeties on every play. Any deep ball would have ended in an INT and dumbfricks like you would be screaming about how dumb Carr is for throwing into double coverage.

They have taken the deep routes away from us. We can still move the ball and win this game!

Our entire offensive philosophy is based on running effectively to stop them from doing this. It looks like defenses figured out our tendencies and scheme after 2 games and they are getting the benefit of stopping our run game and preventing the big play simultaneously.

We need more adjustments and not just "we have to run better" that Kubiak keeps trying

There are no deep shots to be had. They are taking that away from us. We can’t afford holding penalties that put us that far behind the chains. Just don’t have the personnel to overcome 1st and 25.

They are taking away the deep plays and offensive line isn’t blocking. Have to take the easy underneath play or the sack.

This complaining is from a drive that stalled because of a 1st and 25, that takes the running game out.

Losing McCoy is a big part of why the Saints are struggling up front. There’s no one leading the OL and until that gets fixed the Saints will continue struggling. Throwing the ball more and putting it back into Carr’s hands is NOT the answer.
