Immediate recovery is allowed, the play does not continue until a recovery is made. The whistle was blown when the ball hit the ground, obviously the ruling on the field was incomplete pass and someone changed it after, which is bullshite considering the whistles. There was no immediate recovery.

Agree

A lot of times they give the RB a chance to break that...forward progress was blown dead pretty early.
