Both Winston and Dalton give the Saints the ability to throw deep. Brees' had a noodle arm his last two years. He had to windup to attempt a deep throw.

And cost us two maybe more. Brady on this team the last two years are super bowl champs.

Brees did with Saints what no other Saints QB in franchise history could come even remotely close to doing.

Y’all shite on that guy way too much. If Brees were at a franchise like the Steelers, Patriots or the Packers then he would probably have at least 3 super bowl rings. Maybe more.

Good take. Because Brees wasn’t as good as the best player to EVER play quarterback, he sucks. Makes sense.

If Bobby Hebert had just been Joe Montana, we’d have won super bowls then, too.

The Brees and Payton hate on this board is ridiculous.

These guys gave the saints the best years the franchise has ever seen and people shite on them.

We don't deserve them or to be that good again honestly.

Hell before Payton and Brees the team was a count hair away from being moved out of the state.

Why can't people give them their due and move on.

I think it’s almost a certainty that the saints would be looked at as a bottom dwelling franchise without getting drew and Sean . It took two hall of gamers to get the team to respectability. Drafting a qb like that is hard to do and it’s even harder to hit on a coach like that

Daltons arm isn’t considered strong, is it?

And yet brees will be a hall of famer and easily the best qb in franchise history. Your lack of respect for that is telling

He could’ve worded it better but he does have a point. We couldn’t stretch the field for the last few years. Makes playing defense a lot easier when you don’t have to worry about passes over your head.

Fair point

I was unaware that Bobby Hebert blocked Joe Montana from coming here to play one more year with his noodle arm because he didn’t want Joe to ruin his legacy. My bad.

I thankful for the Brees years, but I wish he would have stepped away one year earlier and we got Brady for that year. We would have won another Super Bowl.
