Taking Rashard Robinson in the 5th or 6th round would be a steal.

78. New Orleans Saints: Deion Jones, OLB, LSU
He will be gone before that pick.

We need DTs more than DEs.

I just read that Kiper thinks he'll be a late 1st or 2nd round pick. Jones is rising fast.

Do you have a link to that?

LSU linebacker Deion Jones made a big splash during his senior season this past fall, emerging as one of the team's best players on the defensive side and finishing with a team-best 100 tackles and 13.5 tackles for loss.
And in the lead up to this year's NFL Draft, Jones is evidently making waves with scouts across the country. On Monday, ESPN's Mel Kiper said Jones has moved up the board more rapidly than any player in the country.
Kiper called Jones' leap "monumental", adding that he's moved from a late-round selection to a potential first or second round pick. Jones still has both the NFL Combine and LSU's Pro Day ahead of him, in addition to a number of private workouts with teams.
This year's NFL Draft will be held from April 28-30.
Tweet from Larry Holder - "Mel Kiper said LSU's Deion Jones is one of the biggest risers of any prospect in this draft class so far. Late rounder to 1st, 2nd round."

quote:Thanks bro. That's an incredible rise. I was hoping he might last to round 3 for the Saints. So much for that.

Kwon Alexander at almost identical size had a solid year for a 4th Rd pick
Spence-Clark-Jones is one of those combos that I would say it is too good or predictable to expect to see

I think Robinson may be one of the more overrated Tigers in history. I like him as a man cover guy, but he's weak and cannot tackle. He's rangy and willing to play tough, but I don't think he's as good as most believe. He gets a lot of love for shutting down Evans and made some nice plays in that game, but Manziel was inaccurate and Evans had a few early drops. His game vs. Evans is on YouTube.

Ok, Saints do not have a 6th round pick. We do have a 5th round pick, however players who actually played on a team this past season is probably the guys we are going to draft. Imo, we need 2 Guards, 2 DT's, 1 DE, and 1 OLB in this year's draft.

Yup Debo is flying up the board and he will kill it at the combine furthering his climb up!!

Only time will tell, and he's slated to go in the 5th so outside of tiger droppings, definitely not overrated.
