I would think Julio Jones would be Top 100 but ehh frick the Falcons

The top 100 was mainly based on last years performance.
However, in the first 5 weeks, 3 of the games he had over 100 receiving yards, and was at 99 yards against the Jets game when he got injured.
So 580 yards in about 4 and 1/2 games.

He was about to have a big year.

But I have never heard of Jimmy "Avatar" Graham. Where the hell did they get that from???

Brees leaked that nickname out while accepting an award (forget which one)...he was thanking all of the offense by their nickname, and he said that although he (Jimmy) hates it, Avatar really fits him.

I believe it comes from the fact that Jimmy is huge and built like one of the blue people from the movie

41 receptions for 580 yards and 2 TD...

He almost the whole year hurt.

I personally believe that Matt Ryan and Julio Jones both belong in the top 100 in the NFL. Apparently this list was from last season only and both players had less-than stellar seasons.

That being said, Joe Flacco is enormously overrated. I, and I think everyone in here, would take Stafford over Flacco.

No one is more overrated on that list than Russell Wilson. #20 overall NFL player?
Yes, his team won the superbowl. HIS TEAM. Vick could have been the starting qb and won with that team.

He missed most of the year with injury. Had he played the entire season at the pace he was going before the injury, he may have broken Calvin's record.

Next to Julio. On the injured reserve list.

ETA: I don't think a lot of Saints fans know how much J. Byrd has spent on the sidelines due to injury. As soon as NO signed him, ALL of the talk radio down here jizzed itself and wasn't truly objective about it. He's good, when healthy. Same as Julio.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Can't tell if serious? If so, sorry you feel that way. Unfortunately for you, he did miss quite a bit of action last year. Only to then have another "minor back procedure" done just a month or 2 ago.

"Minor back procedure". Love that. Reminds me a lot of Julio's "minor foot surgery".

ETA: And just cause.

I'm completely serious, you completely talked out of your arse.

Yes, it is the only time in his career that he's missed snaps. He still had over 600 snaps btw.

This is what you said:

quote:

2013 - 646 snaps; 11 games; 83 % of snaps in games played
2012 - 1,047 snaps; 16 games; 94% of snaps
2011 - 1,041 snaps; 16 games; 99% of snaps
2010 - 928 snaps; 16 games; 81% of snaps
2009 - 666 snaps (rookie, 14 games); 65% of snaps

What an injury history Not many defensive players come close to that.

He's just plain great actually
