Well, first of all the Saints going on a 4 game roll with their schedule seems unlikely

AND you also had Carolina losing 3 of their last 4...also seems very unlikely

i like your optimism. however, what you failed to consider, is, for example:

week 15- nyg already clinch and relax against dallas.

week 16- nyg already clinch and relax for carolina

and i know, some of you will say "but they will be playing for home field advantage". sorry, they can lose and still have home field, so that doesn't mean shite.

This season was fricked from the beginning. If we would have gotten those little breaks vs Denver, Washington, and Minnesota we would also be 9-3 and in pretty good position.

Purple, that is realistic without the point of NYG having clinched already. However, I do like the way you think, and I hope this can happen.

So the gmen are going to relax the last 3 weeks of the season, have a bye week, and go into the first game of the playoffs basically having rested their starters for 4 weeks?

sad thing is that we will probably miss the playoffs because of two missed fricking field goals. can you believe that?

THE GIANTS ARE ABOUT TO LAY DOWN, PEOPLE. they are not going undefeated. they have pretty much clinched home field already. don't count on them to destroy the boys and carolina.

I know, its painfully stupid. And with all of the injuries and dumb stuff that has happened, can you imagine being 9-3 right now. Confidence sky high, still fighting for a division title and bye, playing tough teams going in, being ready for the playoffs. Damn!!! What could have been.

I don't think the G-Men will lay down and rest their starters, I don't think they want them rusty for the playoffs and will play them at least until halftime of the last game of the season.

WE DO HAVE A CHANCE! But we cannot make the playoffs unless we beat Atlanta first.

if the G-men lay down their starters it wont be until week 17, see the colts a few years ago when they started resting week 16

Well...
1) if Tampa keeps winning, they will push the Giants for home field advantage.
2) the Giants know that what they did in a seemingly "meaningless" game at the end of last year against the Patriots (playing like it was a playoff game even though they already had their playoff spot in hand) got them on a roll and propelled them to the Super Bowl. I doubt Coughlin will simply rest players over the last few weeks when he had such success doing the opposite last year.

In other words...after playing with this scenario generator...we are not mathematically eliminated!

Seems to be the theme for every other season about this time of the year.

That's why we root for Philly to beat the Giants this week. We need the Giants to avoid clinching.

I am still going to Chicago if everything goes right this weekend.

Philadelphia is a huge ally for us. We need them to beat Washington in Week 16 or Dallas in Week 17.

I don't think we will be that lucky. But it doesn't mean they should stop trying.
