Nah just cause he’s good at throwing a leather ball doesn’t make him a great human. It’s our fault for looking up to guys who are good at a stupid game. He bent the knee to appease the woke libs. Brees is not someone worth admiring.

Just because someone made a bad decision doesn't necessarily wipe out everything good in a person's life. I welcome anyone to read his book. I welcome anyone to relate stories of him being a bad family man. A bad husband. A bad person. Selfish. A bad friend. Crappy teammate or poor member of society at large. Many throw stones. Few that do earned the right.

Even tho he disrespected the legacy of his grandfathers, I don’t think he’s a bad person. I just don’t think he’s someone worth idolizing. He was once very good at playing a game. I will most likely never read his book lol and I’ll never give two fricks what his opinions are on political and social justice issues. I would much rather look up to a doctor who saves lives from cancer, or a special ops war veteran, or even a school teacher who takes care of children. Drew Brees was good at throwing a football. Athletes are like horses. They’re good for entertainment and laying bets. They are not role models.

I wonder what the Brees family thinks about that very thing.

And remembered for being a spineless cuck that sucked at broadcasting. He made others believe Payton was a good coach though.

Lol at you guys taking shots at Brees as a man because he did something to appease his colleagues that y’all didn’t agree with. Welcome to sports during that time. He wasn’t the only one.

damn shame Brees can't be discussed without some mouth breathing political talk poster hijacking it because he's still in his feelings about that irrelevant shite.

It’s a bigger shame that some retard with a single digit IQ, who happens to throw a ball on TV, involves himself in politics or something he has no clue about and expects people not to be turned off to his anti-American sentiment.

frick him.

Maybe Brees learned to stay in his lane and keep his mouth shut and play football….but he couldn’t do it when he was angling for an announcer gig.

Drew was in a late career panic to hold his team together for one more run. We will never have a player with a more competitive drive and a desire to win than Drew. But I too wish he would have told them to f@ck off but he didn't.

your misstatements are amateurish.

I don’t even know if it was that. I know he also got an insane amount of hate, likely threats, etc by those fricking loons. Who the hell knows what his family went through. I didn’t like his reversal of statement but I’m not going to pretend to know what kinda shite the family received or where their breaking point was.

Seems like I remember hearing or reading about he and his wife had been at the hospital with one of their kids for a lengthy amount of time and he was smoked physically and mentally when that interviewed happened. Not saying it’s justified, just can’t remember if it’s true or not. Regardless of me disagreeing with what he said…I’ll always appreciate what’s he did for the Team, City, State, Region and enjoyed every second of watching him play.
