The Falcons aren't trading him to a division rival.

Would be cool to speculate as a fan, but no way they do that unless the offer from the Saints is substantial and/or the only legit offer. Plus, the Saints would still need to clear $15M just for Julio, I think they still need to clear a few $M to sign their rookies.

Don’t want. Old, high salary and starting to break down. Plus you’d have to pay the division rival tax. Hard pass.....

I saw a note on twitter about this. It said: The falcons will only consider trade Jones to the 28 other teams not in the NFC south in order TO avoid sending him to the 3 division rivals.

28-3 jokes never get old.

Its not i dont want Julio... Letting Jenkins go and then trading for a WR we dont need would be so infuriating. Would rather a Cornerback

You gotta love when analysts/execs/whatever make random arse predictions with no actual value behind them.

I regret that I have but one upvote to give.

I'd even upvote if it were 28-2.

We are not giving up draft assets to a division rival for their aging and expensive malcontent WR. We already have our diva WR, don’t need another for them to have a pissing contest.

I don't need a over price WR that is on decline. He is only 3 yrs away from retirement.

How funny would it be if that's what he meant by his statement that he was out of Atl, but they asked him to keep it quiet and wait until after 6/01 for cap reasons.

No way do we have cap room but he is still a top 15 WR. Where are you getting your info that he been injured? The last last 3 years he has more total yards then Adams and Hill. He had 1677 yards in 19. No way can we afford him but going on talent alone he is a top Wr

He’s been banged up for years now. They also manage his reps a lot. He gets pulled for multiple plays at a time during a lot of drives.
