He has never been consistent enough, even in practice. They kept him around basically for free thanks to the NFL international program due to his great leg. The reality is, he does not consistently kick the ball cleanly like the obvious good NFL kickers do. He's erratic, not NFL quality.

Isn’t there a rule that as long as there is clear recovery by a team they’ll still be awarded even if it’s after the whistle?
