Are we pretending that the WR is all set and we aren't missing speed, playmaking and explosiveness? We just paid Carr big monies, lets give him tools.

I got no issue with drafting Zay Flowers at 29 (though wouldn't be my first choice, he's basically a shorter Raheed Shaheed). The trade up to 27 is the problem. Just unnecessary, no matter how little you give up. Too many players with similar evals/upside to feel bad if we miss out on Flowers. It'd make more sense to jump ahead of Cincinatti for Jahmyr Gibbs. There's a much bigger dropoff from Jahmyr Gibbs to the next RB than from Flowers to the next WR (like Jalin Hyatt).

Why would you trade to move ahead of Cincy for a WR. They are not targeting a WR as that's one of their strongest positions on their team. Buffalo isn't going WR there either, even with it being one of their biggest needs. The WRs of this class just isnt worth the first round pick. They can get a starter at WR in the second round, and maybe even Flowers in the second round.

The one thing I do see happening that you picked was O'Cyrus going with someone like the chargers. I can see them reaching for a position of need even with most mocks not having him go that high in the draft. He is the clear cut best Guard, and if Chargers don't fix the line issues, they are going to waste Justin Hebert.
