if manning can't hit 200 yards tonight and has 1-2 more turnovers, do you think brees can hoist both MVP and SB MVP this year?

It's a shame but the media will never give an MVP award to Brees. It's bullcrap.

If Manning is to lose it tonight, it will only be to Brady, who the media will play up as having inexperienced receivers and still beating the Broncos

If you look at their stats Manning will still have thrown for more yards, 8 more TDs, and his QB rating will likely still be higher. That's enough to justify Manning staying in the top spot. Brees is closing that gap though

Yes, the TD portion is still a good bit higher, the yardage will be about neck and neck. passer rating will be all dependent on how manning does in the outdoors since it gets really cold.

Brees has the better match up because the secondaries for seattle will be taking a hit, carolina's weakness in that defense is their secondary (brady exploits last week), st. louis just lost finnegan, and tampa bay is at home indoors. I can definitely see brees catching up/passing manning for #1 in yardage. TD's not so much.

Unfortunately this year, as with Brees' Super Bowl year, the media pre-ordained Manning the MVP halfway through the season.

Let's hope the results are the same in the end though !

no, this isn't the heisman. people are given the MVP based on their entire body of work over the course of the season, and don't fall out after 1 bad game.

Peyton will still be leading the MVP race comfortably after tonight. but it is still november so who knows what could happen

A Broncos loss to KC and a Saints win in Seattle could do wonders.

after seeing Manning in the cold last night Brees could still have a legit chance.

they're @ KC next week which can sometimes be tough weather (+good fans)

two more games in Denver- Titans 12/8 & SD 12/12 four days later. Pray for an early Colorado blizzard
