Most thought we’d be 1-2 after the raiders game

Obviously it was a bad loss but it’s a long season. Shough isn’t going anywhere and the defense will rebound. The raiders might be really good. I’m not freaking out yet.

The only thing that REALLY matters this season is confirming Shough is the guy going forward. Though 3 games that seems to be a massive yes.

Man that was a tough loss, no other way of putting it. Easily should have won that one, those are the losses that haunt you at the end of the season.

Go watch Skrmetta post game. Raiders are fools gold. They have 7 turnovers in 2 games. Stats from our game and the Chargers are identical where the losing team had the better day (on paper) but turned the ball over 3 and 4 times. That's bad football and you can't win many games doing that. Turnovers and shitty special teams giving short fields all game. Bad play calls on short yardage when you are up and in scoring position are also unacceptable. That's bad coaching.

Going into this season only a fool would have expected anything like a 180 degree turn around. We’re actually in year two of a rebuild. It looks like we may actually be ahead of schedule, although yesterday was a disappointment. We certainly didn’t get help from favorable calls by the officials. I still saw reason for optimism.
We’ve seen the ability to sustain a drive and score without tne necessity of the big play, for example.

I mean at the end of the day he’s playing for a 9 figure contract. He will be ok.
