There should be a rule change with this silly cat and mouse game of calling a timeout before a field goal kick. Just because if worked one time five years ago doesn’t mean you have to call a timeout every single game ending kick.
Call a timeout to mythically “ice” the kicker? That’s fine, but it’s gonna be a 5 yard penalty for your stupidity.
