The Second Guess Show tonight is a tribute to Mike. Bobby is understandably very emotional.
An all star lineup of guests is on deck to pay tribute to the legend.

Very tough hearing Bobby break down like he is and very understanding. Making me lose it as well! RIP Mike D!

I was listening to draft coverage this year & it was clear Detellier was tipping the picks via Twitter, but Bobby had no idea and was in shock that he kept nailing the picks.

Detellier was funny & always had these clever little sayings. And he was one of the best rifters out there. Like a Cajun Chris Berman

That was a wonderful tribute and very moving.
I especially liked the Tim Brando segment.
I heard that August 18 interview that Detillier did with Brando after Skip Bertman’s passing. That is one of the things I was referring to when I said that Mike sounded just fine on the radio until very recently.
May he rest in peace.

The replays can be easily found on the WWL website. And someone posted a link above.
It is well worth listening to.

Mike's favorite word, especiially on draft day was value, getting a highly rated player at lower round than anticipated or at the appropriate level. I believe we can all agree that Mike brought great value every day wqith his knowledge, enthusiasm, cheerfulness and passion for life.
