Where did Jerry rank or Mike Brown of the Bengals. Both owner/ gm's. We're not Cleveland, Raiders, Jets, or Giants.

Mickey Loomis is a top tier GM, and will go down as one of the best things to ever happen to the Saints. He basically invented salary cap manipulation. And you can hate on it if you want, but he kept the window open for Brees the entire time he was here. Judging him for the aftermath, that we all knew was coming, is unfair.

I completely forgot about him. I agree 100% that there is no accountability for him. People make comments about Loomis being a de facto owner, but I always assumed it was him as he is the one overseeing everything with the Saints, Pelicans, Archdiocese....Posted on 6/25/25 at 1:05 pm to Geauxldilocks
