Exactly how necessary is it to "scout" him when he's a friggin' local prospect, his coach is a former Saints coaching staffer, and he's running a modified version of the very same offense the Saints run?

this stupid system qb argument is so old hat
every qb is a system qb. nobody takes snaps from under center anymore. if an NFL offense forces guys to do this, they will struggle. it's not something that they ever have to do anymore. every middle and high school and the majority of colleges around the country run shotgun spread offenses. to shoehorn qbs into something completely foreign to them just because you're in the NFL now is why teams like miami and washington and whoever else fail constantly.
