One of the tenets of fascism is the suppression of people’s ability to speak about what they want to express. You could move to China where the athletes are not able say anything about anything unless the government permits it.

Or you could live in America where athletes are free to speak their minds and you are free to ignore, accept or reject their thoughts.

I agree with you on this, I don’t care what any of these athletes say. Most of them have never taken a socially unpopular position in opposition to the majority of his fans because they want them to like him and grow their business. Those comments usually don’t effect me living my life, so why care. (Example: LBJ - I won’t care what he says ever until he makes a comment on Hong Kong because everything he says is carefully crafted for his image.)



You don’t have to agree with what they say, but I’d disagree with you that they need to shut the f up. Life is too short to get upset about what other people say.

Nah man, there’s a time and place for that. Football is not the place. It’s not about whether I agree or disagree with them, it’s about how it’s handled if you don’t agree with them. So, yeah I stand by my words.
