I will jump in and say this, the last time we heard about Rita she was being arrested. Rita may have been worse as owner.

Yeah. It's hard to go through a rebuild after having a decade of success. The party came to a screeching halt. We are in the process of rebuilding in a way we haven't done before.
When Payton was hired they grabbed a bunch of FA's to round out the roster. Over the years PayLoo would always load up on FA's before the draft so they wouldn't have to draft a position of need. They used draft picks as lottery tickets....hoping to hit a big star or so. But never to fully add several key depth pieces. Then they always seemed to get a few UDFA's to pan out.
Well if we aren't in free agency aggressively anymore (cap repair) guess what..... we need the depth and draft capital they've made a career out of discarding. And here we are>>>

The positive is they are showing signs that they understand the problem and are making the corrective right moves now. It's not going to be an instant success and a lot of fans do not know how to process this emotion they are feeling. Again, here we are.

This fanbase is retarded lol
I think the fanbase has been pretty reasonable. No one is going crazy. We all knew this is where we’d be.
We want Mickey gone. Reasonable and necessary.
We want Gayle to get engaged. Or hire someone else that will. Reasonable and necessary.

Bad front office, bad coach.
Dennis Allen was literally better than what we got!
We got a DOGE coin coach. it was at 0.72 a coin, now its worth 0.17..
Time to reset!!!!

Gayle has people to take care of business. She’s not hands on,

Why is a media member calling her “Mrs. Benson?” Unless it’s the New York Times, it’s “Benson” after the first reference. The fact that she is called “Mrs. Benson” shows how soft the local media is.
Damn, just call Kellen Moore “Coach Moore” while you’re at it, if you’re gonna be that reverential.

She’s seemingly a nice lady with a generous streak, but there are no shortage of those types of people who would be absolutely terrible professional sports owners.
Honestly. I think she COULD be the perfect owner. But she is in bed with Loomis. If only she hired a new GM we would thrive with the power they would have.
Loomis is a good loyal honest man. So she trusts him with her finances and monies.
But. It just so happens that Loomis has become a shell of a GM and is no longer good at his job.
She is stuck now. Loomis has her back. But too bad he sucks at his job.
Goodell is the one making her billions. So Loomis can hide behind that.

Yeah I don’t disagree. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want a meddling owner. But the NFL is SO competitive in player acquisition, scouting, etc.
Having a dude in what his late 60s continuing to be intertwined in the front office and her fortune (if you believe what so many say) just puts us at a major competitive disadvantage.
The lack of pressure and just general ineptitude is a lethal combo in a hyper competitive landscape.
At some point if she cares about success she has to use her resources to go outside of the inner circle and bring this FO up to speed.

I firmly believe that Loomis is basically her CPA. Like I said. He is good guy and she trusts him with her finances just like Tom did.
He would never screw Gayle over and steel money etc etc. that’s why Tom always leaned on him.
But…. Loomis needs to be given an advisory roll to Gayle and she needs to hire a new GM.
It just sucks that she and Loomis are so close and they’re basically like family. Bc it will not allow us to hire a new GM without Loomis thinking he is still GM and meddling.
Not to be morbid…. But he needs to die in a car accident for that to happen.
Loomis is Gayle’s most trusted advisor and it’s not going to change. They are basically married.

It’s not going happen unfortunately. She can ridiculously wealthy and doesn’t have to worry about any internal scams or distrust bc she knows Loomis is not a crooked guy.
So she just lives her life knowing that there will be no foul play bc Loomis would never do that to her.
It’s like having a babysitter for your kids that you trust 100%.

This is why I’ve called it a mom and pop shop between the two organizations. It’s so far from the models that the successful organizations are using and not in a creative, quirky way that really works.
I really believe that for basically any organization or profession to be successful there has to be at least some element of fear of failure keeping you hungry and accountable.
There just doesn’t seem to be that with either of her franchises and she has two semi dinosaurs running them.
I think when a lot of people want owner involvement they don’t want someone looking over the shoulder of draft picks and shite like that. They DO want someone who will at least know what the current successful franchise models are and get fed up with their employees not keeping up with them and make changes accordingly.

Rod was a Rattler fanboy in the media…….so forgive me if I take this with a grain of salt.
I don't really watch the NFL, but Rattler's passing stats look pretty good to me. Shough's do not. Is Rattler being judged off of his won/loss record? That seems a little unfair if so.
