If McCarthy gets shitcanned, what does that do to Payton's value?

McCarthy:

Regular season - 155–97–2
Postseason - 11-10
Super Bowl wins - 1

Payton:

Regular season - 152-89-0
Postseason - 9-8
Super Bowl wins - 1

Both require a hall of fame QB to be competitive

McCarthy keeping his job almost shows you how more important Payton is imo.

Very profound. So like Reid, Belicheck, Tomlin, LaFleur, McDermott, Arians, McVay and every other successful coach of the last 40 years

Reid wins 64.1% of his games and has 1 title
Tomlin wins 63.6% of his games and has 1 title. Payton wins 63.1% of his games and has 1 title. McVay wins 61.2% of his games and has 1 title. McCarthy 61.4% with 1 title

What does McCarthy do to these coaches’ legacies? Stay tuned, we will tell you after the break

Point being, if McCarthy,McVay, etc are sitting there as free agents, why trade draft assets for Payton?
