Why not McCaffrey at 32 if he's there. We love our Reggie Bush/Sproles types and he would be a hell of a player in our system. We can take the CB in round 2. Thoughts? Take him if he's available?

I'd be fine with it, but A) I think he will be gone by 32 and B) I don't think we will have the 32nd pick by the end of the week.

Why do people say he would fit our Reggie/Darren spot? He ran just under a 4.5. That spot has been for guys running under a 4.4.

All for it but think he'll be gone.

If we really are in win now mode there would not be another player that would have a bigger impact in our win total available at 32 than a great pass catching running back.

Defensive Draft this year is too deep. You have a chance at getting 2 impact player on D this year.

at 11 and 32 or 42.

I think 11 and 32. Fun Bunch disagrees with me, but he hopes I'm right so I win either way.

There are good backs that will be available later in the draft. The quality of front 7 players drops off pretty swift after the 2nd rd.

No way in hell I would waste a high round pick on a RB unless he were Fournette. The kid they took last year (Lasco) can do everything that McCaffrey can do, he is an excellent runner and pass catcher out of the back field, I'm sure he's 100% healthy now. But I would use a later round pick on Joe Mixon or the McQuire kid from La-Lafayette if they are there.

Lmao

McCafrey is going to be a stud. Don't even try to compare him to Lasco. He would be a perfect fit in this offense. Would get 8-10 carries a game, 5-7 catches AND would be a return specialist. I like the Bush comparison. Another guy I think he'll be used similarly as is Gio Bernard, but CM has more talent

You're an idiot, man, change your name. Go look at what Daniel Lasco did his junior year at Cal in the same conference as McCaffrey, he put up impressive stats before he seriously got hurt and couldn't do much in his senior year, and he was basically still getting healthy last season with the Saints. I know what McCaffrey can do, but I wouldn't take a RB that high unless it were LF like I said.

Haven't had this in a while and we really don't miss it. Saints have greater needs.

CM at 32 is good value. No way in hell would I take him at 11, but at 32? No doubt

just so we're clear, McCaffrey put up 2660 and 1900 yards from scrimmage the past two seasons. He has no peers, statistically speaking.
