If he falls to 27 somehow, you take him. I really do believe he’s the perfect fit for this offense but not worth trading up for.

Lol

I'm not saying give up our entire draft. But if he's somehow there in the teens you absolutely start working the phones and see what it will take.

To me it's a little bit more than just an opinion - we were so close this past season and almost every key piece is returning.

So you ask yourself, will this guy increase our chances of winning a Super Bowl in the next 2-3 seasons? The answer for any QB is a resounding "no".

I thought Taysom Hill was our QB of the future.

My response was more specific to the guy saying we should pass on him at 27. Work the phones but I’m not for giving up a lot

I mean we think Brees will be ok for 2-3 seasons. We don’t know that for sure. He had a great year this year and we took some pressure off of him. There are absolutely not guarantees with a 39 ,40,41 year old qb. Nor is it a guarantee anyone at 27 would help us win a super bowl in the next 2-3 years. With the talented youth we’ve built on our roster I think we should be thinking beyond 2-3 years.

in 2018? Yes, because we are going to have Brees back for a season or two with a very narrow but REAL window for getting back to the SB. That has to be the priority. There will be 15 more Mayfields over the next 2-3 seasons that are consensus can't miss QBs (and 13 of them will bust)

I'd rather take Allen. Dude is massive and has one heck of an arm.
