I mean would you rather have harper, jenkins,or jason david at that moment I'll take marcus he made a bad decision at the wrong time but this kid's a baller & will get better from this & prevail let's lift him up at this time in his young career we need him going forward to play well for us.

His play was the easiest to pick apart. Most convenient,..Now, if the offense could have had 2 quarters back to score again.

Yep.... Drew sucked the first half, but we can narrow it down to one play.

Just like the underthrown pick should've been TD to Ginn....

You can't expect everything to go smooth. But when you overcome all the mistakes and are in position to win the game off a simple play you need to make it. And that defense failed to make it again. They always do this, all the time. When will enough be enough? Everyone keeps circle jerking but this defense has been our Achilles for the last 9 years. They fail us at the worst times.

I'd take Jarius Byrd since he lined up 35-40 yards (maybe deeper) off the ball that one game in Atlanta a few years ago.

I feel bad for Williams cause he probably feels like he let the team down but situational football was obviously exposed here. The alignment.. the effort at the tackle of the WR... I mean coaching deserves some blame too.

But at the same time, if the tackle is made, no one sits there and critiques the strategy either.

How about getting a fricking yard on 3rd and 1 with 30 secs left to run the clock down and then kick the field goal??

came up big vs carolina, they sealed that game away.

but you know, there was a QB that literally lost a game for us this season at the last second. making the most bone-headed decision this regular season and arguably costed us our last chance at a bye.

Oh yeah, that was Brees.

At first I was upset, but I can't blame it all on Marcus. He helped a lot in this game to be in position to win.

I agree, our defense has been an issue, but it's better now than it has been in years..with rookies.

He will become a student of the game and that shite won't happen again. He may make us all forget it some day.

Nobody is more down from this than him. I think it will become motivation for him though.

As angry as I was at him earlier, I now feel sorry for him. Baring him making a play to win a Super Bowl, Williams entire career will be remembered in a highlight reel of the most amazing miracle plays in NFL history. He will always be the guy on that play that put his head down and dove at air. After one year played in the NFL, he already has his career defined, at least on a national level. That’s going to be a hard thing to live with and overcome. I hope for his sake he has it in him but a lot of guys would not. Bless his heart.

Sean called the most obvious play, MN knew the Saints were going to run the ball there
