the free agent signings roster LINK / shows we signed him from minesota yet they have never published anything at all about the contract that i could find.
it shows he signed a 1 year deal with us but whats the money he signed for?

Marcus Sherels' contract with the Saints is a one-year, minimum salary benefit deal. He received a $90k signing bonus and and $930k base salary, but has a cap number of just $735k for 2019.

As said, almost exclusively special teams. He's played what amounts to as a game to a game and a half worth of snaps (70 something) over the last 5 years combined on defense.
So less than Banjo has for us on defense over the last 2 years.

Surprisingly, unless you're a guy like Hester, return guys are viewed as less valuable than other special teams specialists (guys like Banjo and Gleason).
He plays kick coverage too, but I don't think he's lauded as great at that aspect (though still good).
