Shouldn’t settle for FG’s in the NFL. It can be OK to fall back on them to get points, but the goal should be getting into the end zone. You are limited in terms of possessions, so you have to be aggressive to find ways to score TD’s. Settling for FG’s get you beat- see the last TB game for example.

We went for 4th & 1 because we suck at kicking. And play calling.

This is by far our biggest problem on offense. There’s very little desire to sustain drives and score TD’s. Obviously we have a kicker that is past his prime so simply trying to get into FG range does not guarantee points.
