This is arguably the most important position on the O-Line (at least for the Saints' scheme)

Where's Willie Rolf when we need him????
I assume you mean Roaf and he's at Visions if you need him.

Listen to your fellow STers man, we gonna be fine at LT.
The way Drew steps up into the pocket and the fact he has such a quick release He's gonna make the next LT a probowler just like Bushrod.

I'd prefer a Brown/Armstead over Bushrod

Anyone over Bushrod is an improvement.

Let's see what the Saints have drafted on the O-Line under the current regime:
-Carl Nicks: 5th round: Nebraska
-Jahri Evans: 4th round: Bloomsburg University
-Jermon Bushrod: 4th round: Towson
Given the track record of later round unknown draft picks along the O-Line I am having full confidence that the leadership has found another unknown gem in Armstead.

Brees made Bushrod look good, not the other way around.

That may be true, but call me crazy... if Brees MUST take a hit, I'd rather it be a hit he can see and brace for than one from the blindside. Which usually results in a fumble.
This is a load of crap, the one plays you dont want pressure on a QB is up the middle. Pressure up the middle damn near guarantees a play wont be successful and a QB is much more likely to get seriously injured from a guy running straight at him

Can't be worse than Bushrod.

You don't buy that story, Melvin.

Marques Colston has never made the pro bowl.
Just sayin'.

take this for what it's worth but Ross Tucker (a former offensive lineman that has the best football podcast imo) was not a fan of our armstead pick. He said it was a multi-season project that would probably never pan out after watching a little of his playing time.
Hope he is wrong

You're missing the fact that Pro Bowl selections are meaningless.
Johnny Knox has been to the Pro Bowl. Is he a better WR than Colston?
