I'm quite sure DC can be better than what Fairley is now.

Fairly has had a pretty damn good year actually. I'd rather resign Fairley, and let Davison and Rankins develop together and get an edge rusher that can change a ball game.

And that's nothing against him. I think he's a great player.

Now after the first or second round, I'd be all for it

I was thinking Godchaux around the 3rd round if he was available.

Saints will not draft another LSU player until ownership changes

Fournette would be a great fit with Brees as Brees gets older, much like Elway later in his career. Brees doesn't exactly light up on the road outside. Fournette is an impact player that comes around every 10 years. You can always draft other players later in the draft. If he is available you have to strongly consider him.

Completely agree.

Pro scouts actually have up to 7 LSU players first round. I'll think their grades > yours

You probably read this projection before the season started, b/c I read the same. Do you really think Pocic, Dupre(he's played himself out of the 1st), & Godchaux are going 1st round?

Here are cbssportsline's rankings that were updated yesterday:

Fournette - #4 overall(1st round)
Adams - #9 overall(1st round)
Pocic - #48 overall(2nd round) too high imo.
White - #56 overall(2nd round) too low imo.
Dupre - #97 overall(3rd round)
Beckwith - #108 overall(3rd/4th round) way too low imo.
Godchaux - #149 overall(4th/5th round) too low imo.

For some reason they actually have Ed Paris as the #111 overall player(3rd/4th round), but he can barely get on the field at LSU.

Only guy I would really care for is Beckwith. The rest are either not good or not at positions of need worth their draft price.

The Saints are not a good football team....at all. Every position is arguably a position of need. Draft the best player available regardless of position.

This shite is lame.
They will draft an LSU player when one that fills a need for them is in the right draft spot on the board.
