He destroyed them on the Lattimore trade. Lattimore can't get cover his son (Evans) anymore. We got 2 nice picks for getting rid of a guy that's injured 50% of the time that's declining. Great job, Loomis

Maybe. Trading a guy that didn't even play for like a month after the trade is pretty good haul though.

We got a 3rd and a 4th, gave up a 5th plus Latt, right?

That’s not too much of a fleecing I’d say lol.

He was gonna be cut by the saints. He played in 2.5 regular season games for Washington, and he was lit up last night.

I would say it was a really good haul considering.

They gave us the shittier of their two third round picks. I don’t feel bad.

He’s missed most of the year injured. Takes time to get back.

Agreed from a draft perspective. Decent haul but not fleecing. Getting rid of his contract was a big deal. From a cap perspective, it’s off the books after ‘25. From a cash perspective, he’s owed nothing now.

We are paying his salary($38 million). We held onto him why his value plummeted, and killed our cap more. Its how we roll.

He's missed most of the last 3 seasons. Well not "most"... he's started 26 of 51 games the last 3 seasons, but as we all know, he didn't finish all those 26 games.

Post whatever you need to feel better about Loomis and the Saints, doesn’t change the fact Washington is in the final 4 NFC with a very bright future vs the Saints in the middle of a lost decade.

Good grief. No one is saying we're in a better position than them.

Had we kept him, we'd still have that money, no extra 3rd or 4th, and we woulda got 2 games from him. Washington gave up those picks for nothing - Lattimore hasn't played, and when he played he was ineffective

Then you have no room to spike the football with them. Clearly they are better run organization with the new ownership (something we desperately need).

Yeah, I can’t wait for more Foskeys, Salvaderis, or Bub Means camp hype this summer.

You know it's ok to say Loomis is doing a poor job, but at the same time, he did make a good move in this instance?

I know people are crapping all over Lattimore because they think Evans owned him last night. It wasn't nearly as bad are making it out to be. The majority of the big plays that Mike Evans made he committed extremely obvious offensive pass interference that the refs refused to call on him. Fully extending his left hand while planting his left food and moving to the right for a slant. Grabbing Latt around the waist and pulling him back to get leverage in the endzone.

I don't care what DB was on Evans, he was gonna get his yards if the refs just let him push his way open every play.
